New CM of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath meets the victim in ICU

Right after a few days of newly formed UP government led by New CM, Yogi Adityanath, a 35 year old gang-rape survivor who has been fighting for justice for past 8 years was grabbed by two men on a train to Lucknow who poured acid down her throat. This unfortunate woman has faced this acid attack on her second time and it is suspected that this attack was committed by perpetrators to hush up her voice as the trial of her 8-year-old-case was about to begin soon.  

Though, this new govt has taken a few drastic steps to control the crimes in the State but it seems the criminals of Uttar Pradesh fear none. Visibly disturbed by this, New CM has personally visited the woman in the ICU of King George Medical College and given personal assurance to her husband to nab the criminals at the earliest. 

The said woman had received constant threats over the years in order to terrify her to withdraw the case who was gang-raped at her village in Raebareli in 2008 with acid thrown on her abdomen and subsequently three men were arrested. Away from her family, she works at a Cafe in Lucknow that employs acid attack victims.

Pale with terror after the tragic incident, her husband is hoping to get the justice for what has happened to her wife especially after the visit of current CM, Yogi Adityanath. He pursued this case all these years to get justice to her wife, he said. Two men named by the survivor have been arrested reportedly after the CM's visit.
