In fresh hate crime, Srinivas Kuchibhotla, a young Indian 32 yrs old IT engineer from Hydrabad, employed by a US company, was killed by a US Navy veteran who believed him to be a middle easterner. Before killing him, the killer was heard shouting at the victim to leave his country. There may be villains in States but America is no short of Heroes either. Imagine, another fellow, Ian Grillot who tried to save this victim unsuccessfully though is none but another American only who has been hailed a hero by the media. Nothing is going to come out of such hate and violence as VIOLENCE BREEDS VIOLENCE only.

Srinivas's colleague, Alok Madasani, another Indian from the same city was also wounded in the violence that took place at a crowded suburban Kansas City bar of Olathe City. Srinivas died in the hospital but his friend Alok was released on Thursday.

This unfortunate incident reminds us of the brutal killing of Balbir Singh, a Sikh Indian American who was shot in hate crime after 9/11 terror attacks who was believed to be a Middle Easterner by his killer too. Several hours later, Puritnon, the killer had been nabbed by the cops at some bar. The Killer has also been charged with shooting a white man, Ian Grillot who daringly tried to stop the shooting but was slugged twice by the killer.
Indian foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj has offered her condolences to the family of the victim.
