SUCH SHAMEFUL INCIDENTS UNDERMINE DEMOCRACY OF THE COUNTRY...

SHOE THROWER, VIKAS IN POLICE CUSTODY |
Recently, at a massive Rohtak rally of Arvind Kejriwal, 26 yrs old, a young demented man from Modi village of Charkhi Dadri threw his shoe again at Arvind but luckily it did not reach its target and fell away because the shoe had hit the edge of of the stage. Particularly AAP has been targeted again and again. The accused was nabbed by the local cops and taken away and may have been released later the way others were set free after initial formalities. I do agree, these extremities may be an offshoot of some politically devised plan of opposition as claimed by Arvind Kejriwal but who cares in India to deep-probe it unless we have the will to put an end to such horrible activities that have become integral part of Indian democracy?
You may recall, another man had slapped Kejriwal right after the man garlanded him during a street procession couple of years back at Delhi. Then again, he and his top leaders were targeted during media meets with shoes and ink episodes. Once Sharad Pawar was also slapped by some guy in Delhi and similarly another man had thrown shoe at Rahul Gandhi too during a roadshow. Such undemocratic & dangerous incidents have grown a lot in recent times and are done repeatedly without the fear of law and there is an urgent need to enforce deterrent to stop them.
It really amazes us that none in the power have taken the serious note of these ugly actions by punishing those people heavily for their sickeningly daring, unlawful and undemocratic acts. Are they all sleeping in the government or enjoying such things secretly out of political jealousy and vendetta. Such hateful actions can't be justified on any grounds that he/she may has done it because he believes the aimed politician is not right about certain issue or whatever he is saying is not right or he has not fulfilled so and so promises. There may be multiple excuses for poor vindication.
On multiple fronts, our PM, Narendra Modi has also not fulfilled his commitments that doesn't mean that he must be given the same shoe, ink and slap treatment. There are lots of other democratic ways of showing one's resentment and protests in an appropriate way.
Following the attack, Mr Kejriwal has said he would not stop exposing the truth behind demonetization and Birla, Sahara Kickbacks Narendra Modi had taken and accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi's supporters for the incident.
