First of its kind a serious allegation on PM's clean image by Rahul Gandhi must have definitely moved the earth under Bjpians for they instantly rushed to his defense and tried to assure the Indians that he is as pure as river Ganges. How funny! Don't they know the fact that River Ganges is not pure any longer as Indian governments spend crores and crores to clean its filth every year.
Modi may be able to disguise his true feelings but I am certain he must have felt high- voltage current of a earth tremor under his feet the moment Rahul exposed his personal corruption in his rally but PM later played it calmly like a professional player to give an impression as if nothing moved. Deep down in his heart he must have been deeply hurt though I am sure but he seems too smart enough to show his anger in the public because that would have justified the earthquake like impact over serious charges that Rahul Gandhi had hinted about. Rather using his political acumen, Modi should have taken it like a challenge and invited an open investigation for these serious charges slapped on him as truth fears no examination. Pretty odd, he didn't go for it!
Instead of addressing the accusation on a serious note and accepting the demand of opposition for an investigation by CBI if he is as clean as he claims, to my dismay, he made mockery of Rahul Gandhi calling him a packet that is open now in Varanasi like some stand up comedian entertaining his audience. He may say he is delighted to see Rahul learning the ropes like some seasoned orator but to be honest he doesn't seem to be. He is PM of this nation not an ordinary street guy who would do such a degrading playact damaging his own character which is certainly far below his dignity. In my opinion, he did not make mockery of Rahul but made fun of his own dignity and clean image.
