A BSF soldier from 29 Battalion, before his due voluntary retirement this month, has taken a daring step to expose rampant corruption by his senior officers in his video that has gone viral. In his appeal to the nation, he claims that the food served to them in extreme cold conditions is so poor, inadequate and below set standards of Indian Army that at times soldiers opt to go without having their meals. He adds that Indian government is not to blame for the poor quality food because it provides everything what the soldiers deserve but the senior officers of BSF who in turn sell ration in the market and earn illegal money.
Without looking into this serious allegation of food scam in Indian Army and completing its investigation to get to the bottom, in its lame defense BSF has jumped to accuse the soldier in question that he had been court-martialed in 2010 for putting the gun at the temple of his senior officer. And he has shot this video in retaliation.

Union home Minister, Rajnath Singh has ordered immediate inquiry into this grave accusation leveled by Tej Bahadur Yadav against his higher BSF officials that has consequently dented the image of Indian Army. The sad news of food scam in Army has created nationwide outrage and was covered by almost every news channel in india.
In the line of investigation, BSF officers have shifted Tej Bahadur to a different unit with plumbing assignment which they say is routine process during investigations. Initially, his wife had no clue where he was. Later he was able to establish contact with her and asked his wife to release the audio clip of his conversation to the media because he is under pressure to withdraw his complaint. He also has shown his desire to give his statement to the media so that people may know that this so-called investigation is nothing but a mere formality..

Should the Indian soldiers, guarding our borders standing on their feet all the time in extreme cold conditions, prepared to face the bullets on duty for defending Indian borders for the country, be treated so shabbily like this by senior officers? Shouldn't they be fed well? Can there be anything more shameful than this in this country?
