OVER 250 CRORES HAVE BEEN SEIZED AND COUNTING CONTINUES

Post 34 days of demonetization, the nation, short of cash, is still standing hours together in the queues. Most of the ATMs are either short of cash or have no money in  them. Where has the money disappeared? The Common man seems to have no clue! The air is abuzz with wide range speculation and confusion as to when this money mess is going to end. This has gone way beyond the calculations of Indian government and that is the very reason the ministers and govt officials are changing their assurances almost daily with new set of rules and look helpless.

But the fact is- the cash that was meant for the Banks, its ATMs and its customers is filtering illegally into the hands of corrupt and black money hoarders through backdoor. The corrupt banks are making most of this situation and ripping huge commissions for turning black into white, old stacks of notes into new banknotes. The demonetization has offered new and quick source of income for banks. Bigger the money, bigger the commission. Who lets go of golden opportunity like this in India? 

The raids are conducted every day at all the suspicious places across country. Be it Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hydrabad it is same everywhere..The heavy cash in new denomination gets seized by CBI, Local cops, I-T dept, ED authorities. 

The frustration and anger that was latent behind the national cause among the people in the queues is showing up now. 

Someone had asked a valid question when people are punished for their cheques being bounced because of insufficient funds then why can't this government and banks be punished for leaving no money in the ATMs and denying people their own money.
